Clinical study for abdominal trauma

Abstract
1) We have followed-up 36 cases of blunt or penetrating abdominal trauma from Jan 1970 to may 1972.
2) The cases due to blunt trauma was more common than to the penetrating, comparing the foreign army Hospital, but less common comparing the civilian Hospital.
3) Visible free-air by x-ray check up, in the cases of hollow viscus perforation was not more than 50%.
4) The most farorable site of injury was jejunum, especially in the blunt trauma
5) In blunt trauma, multiple organ injuries was almost to 20%.
6) The frequency of complication was dependent upon the involved organ and time interval until treatment ofter trauma
